ABOUT THIS PROJECT

This is a project that I have been thinking about for many, many years.

As an artist, I get to see every painting come to life every day. I see the changes that it goes through to get to the finished piece. The finished piece gets all the glory. But the finished piece is only one small part of the whole story.

BEAUTY IN THE PROCESS

I have come to find that along the way, there are moments of beauty in the unfinished piece. I often find myself stepping back from the unfinished canvas and saying, “I like this as it is.” However, I usually keep going because I am chasing a larger idea.

It wasn’t until the NFT came along that I realized that this is finally the opportunity to bring this project to life.

ADD TO THE ART DISCUSSION

There is no question that the NFT has changed the face of art. It has forced us to question what it means to create or own an original piece of art. My hope is that this piece(s) of art adds to the art discussion unlike any piece of art has before. That may sound like a bold statement but this art piece has the possibility of spanning many future decades of new, unknown technologies that will shape the direction in ways that we cannot comprehend. This piece is along for the ride

The Process Realized As Art - AN NFT PRIMER

Each phase of the process is a work of art. With an NFT we can now document and own artwork like never before.

To document my life’s art work, I will drop each session as an individual NFT. NFTs provide us with the opportunity to harness moments in the creative process and to open up new discussions about what art is, the art world, and who owns it.

It gives you the opportunity to not only follow the journey but also own and collect a piece of my life’s art work.
